Permalink Urban Organics || This morning I was inspired by a beautiful image @clauserathiuk posted on her feed yesterday. I was reminded of how photography not only captures a fleeting moment but also has the power to allow the viewer some freedom to interpret. I had a sense of life in inanimate objects, in this case the gorgeous symmetrical craftsmanship of iron gates that I walk by each day. (Taken with Instagram)

Permalink Tenements in light & shadow 2 || This shot was taken on my block in Ridgewood. Aside from the beauty of rowhouse design, the light that dances through the occasional negative space of a driveway gives a feeling of enchantment, pulling me in. Add a little urban jungle along with blue skies and it makes for a winning combination. This is a no-edit, single-tag shot using only the lux filter in IG for #justforabitoffun_1 and @yachtpagos.
